Day Sixteen - Hunterville to Sanson

After being very well taken care of at the Cooks Bar in the main street of Marton the crew backed up this morning and everyone was in good spirits. A big thank you to Anton and Graham (the co-owners of the Cooks Bar) for a great night and putting on a good show. I apologise to the patrons for costing them an extra half hour of happy hour with my poor bowling effort….but thank you to young Michael for taking around our donation buckets and helping with the raffle!

It was a long one today starting from Hunterville and making our way past Marton, through Bulls and onto Sanson. It seemed a little bit like the road that would never end as we hoped every corner would be our last….however we managed to power through it. I was given a little boost as we went through Bulls where the Town Coordinator Browyn met us and pointed out the local sights….starting with the Consta-BULL’s office, the Afforda-BULL’s store and we were lucky enough to not have to use the Relievea-BULL!

Once getting back to our accommodation at Sue Foley’s home in Marton I had my feet up right away and Selwyn looked after me. We are visiting the Rat Hole in Bulls tonight and looking forward to a big meal. Will see how the body feels in the morning…fingers crossed!
